(As Told By Santa)

The (As Told by Santa) Story

One year, when I was much younger, I went on my annual visit to see Santa Claus very late in the day. For whatever reason, there were no people waiting in line and I got to sit on his lap for a very long time. We talked about so many things that day, from family to friends, from school to sports, from pets to vacations, and just about anything else I could think of. Oh, yes, also about what I wanted for Christmas.

When I asked him what he wanted, he laughed and told me he got everything he wanted every year, but really would like to tell people some of his stories. I asked what kind of stories he had to tell and he began telling them right then and there, one right after the next. I listened very carefully and tried to remember each word, in each story, as he told me. That night his stories just kept racing through my head , over and over and over. And then I waited, for years, hoping to hear them once more, but never did. Every year we went to see him, the lines seemed longer and longer and each time I asked him if he could please just tell me one of his stories, he just smiled and pointed to the line of people waiting and asked me if it would be be nice to make all those people wait while he told me stories.

Well, I finally realized just how fortunate I had been that day and decided to share his stories with everybody, so here is the first, My Reindeer (As Told by Santa). I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. And maybe someday, you’ll visit Santa and there won’t be a line of people waiting to see him.

  • Santa Mike and Mrs. Claus were the epitome of what you would expect Santa to be. He talked with every table and told wonderful stories. He had the whole room singing at one point. It was a truly magical evening. I look forward to seeing him again next year!

  • Santa blew everyone away with his charm and genuine desire to engage with everyone. He didn't just take pictures with everyone. He sat with each child and had conversations with them individually and he told stories to the group throughout the event. This turned out to be a successful fundraising event due to how good Santa was with everyone. Another parent even asked him if he does private parties. On top of all that, he surprised us with a special guest; Mrs. Claus and she was very charming and pleasant as well. If you need a Santa for an event, Santa Mike is your guy!

  • Our holiday party was visited by Mr. AND Mrs. Santa Claus! It was so special to have Santa walk through the door with his Jingle Bell staff and Mrs. Claus with her basket of candy canes and freshly picked tangerines. They spent time learning about the children ahead of time and when the children sat on his lap, they were stunned he remembered their names and what they wanted for Christmas. Santa spent time reciting his own poetry and shared the history of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Both adults and children were entertained and we cannot wait for next year!

  • Santa & Mrs.Claus did such an amazing job!! We were all in awww and teary eyed watching the magic they brought in all the kids eyes. They both were so personable, sweet, funny & patient! There were even 2 kids that didn’t believe in Santa and they left 100 percent believing! He told stories, sang, took pics and spent quality time with each kid! It was such an amazing party for my Girl Scout girls. We cannot wait to have them back next year!

I posted some pics! Unfortunately had to block out the faces for privacy with our troop girls.

  • Let's just say every kid thought they were meeting the actual Santa & Mrs. Claus. I had a parent tell me there kid was beginning to question Santa until they came to our event and right away they were back to believing! If you ever need a Santa for your event - look no further!!

  • I am blown away! Working with Santa and Mrs Claus was just the most wonderful experience. Communication was timely and they were just a delight at our event. They connected with the children and parents, told stories, had interesting fun facts about Santa and The North Pole and were just perfect. I am literally thinking of another reason to hire them! Definitely give Santa Mike some time to work the room and have some time to share his stories, it is wonderful!
